About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Sydney Boosveld and I am a current Communication Studies senior at Ohio University! While I am interested in purusing a career as a communications specialists focusing on brand development, up until now I have always worked in high volume and fast paced food service positions. In the fall of 2024, I had the amazing opportunity to work for the Walt Disney Company as a quick service cast member in the Orlando based theme park and would love to return to the company in a corporate position.


Outside of Work

While I enjoy refining my professional skills, I also like to develop my hobbies and relationships outside of work. I have always been very crafty and recently have been practicing crocheting. I love how crocheting allows me to create unique and seemingly difficultly made pieces while sitting on the couch accompanied by reality TV and Diet Coke. Along with crafting, I like to spend my free time creating and surfing content on social media platforms and, in doing so, have found TikTok to be most useful in developing content that reaches a wide and ranging audience.
