LinkedIn Networking Updates

There are new ways on LinkedIn to gain more connections and boost engagement rates. In the latest update, LinkedIn has made it easier to interact with your connections.

Now, when you react to a post, LinkedIn will suggest users for you to follow based off that account. This way, you can connect with more new people that may have similar interests as you. In the messaging section, your messages are now able to be filtered based on unread, archived, spam, and from your own connections making it faster to navigate.

If you would still like your content altered to your specific interests, LinkedIn has updated its search results. Search for a particular topic in the search bar, then click the posts icon and then click content type to filter between videos or images. You can also click the from member option to find a post from a specific company or person.

New changes have been made to newsletters including the opportunity to embed other profiles and accounts into what you are writing for quick access to those pages. Comments on newsletters will now appear to the left of the screen with the comment section on the right allowing more discussion and engagement throughout the article.

As I have mentioned the importance of decluttering your social media platforms, LinkedIn created a way to do this by regularly removing any inactive connections you may have. As a result of this, LinkedIn provides a more authentic and transparent experience on the platform for all users.

Now, you can use the new LinkedIn features to increase brand awareness and more efficiently network throughout the platform. So, if you’re ready to take your marketing strategy to the next level, let’s have a discussion by scheduling a free discovery call. In the meantime, please feel free to connect with me on Facebook and Clubhouse.
