How to Ensure your Content is Capturing Audience Interest
Social media content strategy, after breaking down the various evolving influences, the “mechanics” of this content, can be viewed as a checklist of requirements to fulfill that post’s objective when choosing to post and build your business’ social media. When utilizing a content calendar, or scheduled campaign releases, account administrators may notice overall audience engagement fluctuating either up or down.
We’ve touched previously on choosing the reformatting of information to social media content, and how to best individualize that to your target audience. But, to know if your social media content is covering all of the information your audience is seeking is a layered, and attention-holding task that should be repeated consistently over time.
The digital world is rapidly evolving, with new trends, culture shifts, and simple human-interests always changing about. Here, we provide examples on how to take social media analytics and reports and turn those insights into direct findings surrounding audience interest and how to successfully format said content in order to sustain that engagement.

Taking Another Look
When reviewing social media account(s) analytics, account holders can feel overwhelmed or discouraged at the numbers flashing on the screen. Typically, with recently begun social media accounts, this can feel like a slow start, even when one hits the ground running and feels prepared to take on social media consistently.
These numbers include insights such as, overall post views, like-to-view ratios, further engagement stats such as shares, comments, saves, and link click-throughs. While at first these numbers may seem random at first glance, we encourage account holders to simply, take another look and think about what those numbers say about the social media content that has already been produced.
Social media allows its users to completely individualize their feed, filling it with posts of accounts they follow and recurringly interact with. Social media content insights are a direct guide for account administrators to see firsthand what kind of information and formatting your audience reacts well, or poorly to.
When these numbers are taken into consideration for future content, you can easily review and track how engagement and audience interests changes either over a period of time, over a period of business growth, and all thats in between.
Turning Reflection into Strategy
Account reflection is not the only thing social media engagement statistics provide for account adminsitrators. These numbers, when watched over a period of time, can translate directly back into social media strategy when review for changes comes about. Ensuring that all content styles are taken into account, that audience interest is put first, as for social media, this must be the top consideration.
These numbers directly show you the content your audience responds best too, this should be continuously taken into account for future content. For account administrators thinking ahead, these numbers can have a strong influence on the kinds of content that will continue to be successful, or if not attended too, unseen.
